Infusioncon 2013 has wrapped and it didn’t disappoint! If you weren’t there, did you check out the sessions that were on live stream?

The keynotes throughout the event were excellent, but I loved-loved the keynote from Jay Baer. He talked about something he calls Youtility. It’s all about creating stellar content and being a resource above all else. Content is so critical for those rocking their marketing with Infusionsoft so this preso was super relevant and helpful.
Daymond John from FUBU and Shark Tank was next up. He brought his own DJ and blended music into the preso as he went along which I found amazing. How did they get it all to work together so perfectly? If you have watched my how-to videos, you know I am still working on this.
I had already read his story via Wikipedia (I read everyone’s story via Wikipedia – for better or worse!) but the preso still held my interest and attention from start to finish. An excellent keynote choice because not only is Daymond an Infusionsoft customer, he has nailed business in a big way. Super inspiring.
Mari Smith never disappoints with her content focused on social media. Mari was first on the scene (quite literally, I think) around 2007 to make social media an expertise so really, we were graced with the best in the biz.
Ultimate Marketer Contest
This is honestly an event highlight for me every year. What could be better than listening to 3 different customers talk about there stellar results using their Infusionsoft app to do just about everything (and more if they are rocking above and beyond development).
This year’s finalists were a company that helps churches raise funds, an orthodontist and a company that makes custom sports apparel. It didn’t matter to me who won because all were excellent and totally deserved the award. As a mom of a braces-bound kiddo with great big chompers on his little body, I will say the orthodontist had me when he talked about what it’s like to change the lives of kids by improving their smile. Pass the tissue…
This year’s winner was The Rocket Company which is the company that helps churches. Well deserved!
Infusionsoft co-founders Clate Mask and Scott Martineau gave the morning keynote and per usual, it was awesome. I could listen to the Infusionsoft “story” over and over forever. In a nutshell: Once upon a time there was a man with a balloon twisting business. Some of his kids decided to figure out a way to help their dad grow and work smarter and not harder. And here we are. Good stuff.
Amy Porterfield was a Breakout Speaker and her preso about using Facebook ads in your business was top notch. My hands could not type notes fast enough! With the addition of GroSocial to the Infusionsoft family of products, integrating your Facebook world and your Infusionsoft world is going to become more and more aligned this year.
CustomerHub Spring Release Sneak Peek
- We saw the Infusionsoft Spring Release sneak peek on Day 1 and then the CH sneak peek was on Day 3. Cool stuff coming:
- New Templates
- New Layouts for videos and images
- Auto log in – not really new this spring but new to many in the room
- Integration with Facebook – also not new for spring but new to many in the audience
There was even MORE than I have included here, but these were the high points for Days 2 and 3. A few more things to note:
Infusioncon 2014 will take place April 23-25, 2014 in Phoenix. This time the conference will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center. Mark your calendar and do. not. miss.
